The Texhoma Livestock Auction, Texhoma, Okla., reported receipts of 331 head March 22, compared to 2,000 head last week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Okla.
Compared to last week, limited test on all classes due to wet and snowy conditions. The supply was comprised of 90% steers, 10% heifers. A total of 13 cows and bulls sold with 100% to packers.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 9 head, 794 lbs., 99.00; 887 to 892 lbs., 94.50 to 94.60 (94.55).
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 14 head, 693 lbs., 96.50; 12 head, 747 lbs., 92.50.
Slaughter cows: Boners, 1 head, 80 to 85% lean, 1375 lbs., 49.50. Lean, 10 head, 85 to 90% lean, 1000 to 1200 lbs., 50.00; high dressing, 53.00.
Slaughter bulls: Yield grade 1 to 2, 2 head, 1800 to 1850 lbs., 58.00 to 61.00
