Southwest Farm & Home Expo will include more than 100 exhibitorsWe would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to the 22nd Annual Southwest Farm & Home Expo held in Elk City. This year's show will include more than 100 exhibitors from several southern states. Our show stresses the importance of agriculture in Oklahoma and features unique exhibits for the home. The event was begun by farmers, ranchers and businessmen who recognized the vital role agriculture has in Western Oklahoma's lifestyle and economy. Expo activities will include: --"Ag in the Classroom" national program with hands on learning activities for children, adults and elementary teachers; --All breed bull sale; --All breed replacement heifer sale; --Antique tractor display and activities; --"Eggs and Issues" legislative breakfast; --FFA ag mechanic show and silent auction; --Stihl chainsaw contest; and --Christian artist talent search. Elk City, located on Historic Route 66, features a unique retail shopping district, great lodging facilities, superb restaurants and the National Route 66 Museum situated in the acclaimed Old Town Complex.
