South central direct sheep

The South Central Direct Sheep Sales, San Angelo, Texas, March 17, reported receipts of 1,000 feeder lambs, according to the USDA Market News Service, San Angelo, Texas.
Compared to last week, there was no recent comparison on feeder lambs, however a sharply lower under tone was noted. Slaughter ewes and slaughter meat goats were not tested. Trading was slow, demand was light.
Feeder lambs: Texas, 1000 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, new crop, 60 lbs., 117.00; 70 to 75 lbs., 105.00, few early 117.00; old crop, 85 lbs., 92.00.
