Sioux Falls sheep sales

The Sioux Falls, S.D., sheep sales reported estimated receipts of 500 head March 20, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Compared to last week, slaughter lambs were steady to weak with weights over 170 pounds were $5 to $7 lower. Slaughter ewes were $5 to $7 higher. Feeder lambs were scarce. Sheep supplies were nearly 54% slaughter lambs with about 37% slaughter ewes and the balance mostly feeder lambs.
Slaughter lambs: Wooled, Choice end Prime 2 to 3, package 125 lbs., 72.75, 153 to 157 lbs., 62.25 to 64.25, 177 to 184 lbs., 50.75 to 51.75.
Slaughter ewes: Utility and Good 2 to 3, 31.00 to 38.00, high dressing, 39.00 to 41.75. Cull 1 to 2, 21.00 to 29.00.
Feeder lambs: Medium and large frame 1 to 2, not tested.
Slaughter goats: Kids, Selection 1, 40 to 65 lbs., 115.00 to 119.00.
Nannies: Few, Selection 1, 74 to 122 lbs., 64.50 to 74.00.
