Pratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kans., March 23, reported estimated receipts of 1,600 head, , according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.
Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers 300 to 600 pounds not enough for a market test. Feeder steers 600 to 800 pounds not enough for a market test, although a steady undertone was noted, 800 to 1000 pounds sold $1 to $2 higher. Feeder heifers 650 to 900 pounds not enough for a market test, although a weaker undertone was noted.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 7 head, 701 lbs., 109.50; 15 head, 779 lbs., 102.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 98.60 to 102.35; 850 to 900 lbs., 96.00 to 99.60; 900 to 950 lbs., 91.75 to 94.85; 950 to 1000 lbs., 86.25 to 89.85.
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 99.00 to 101.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 93.00 to 96.25; 800 to 850 lbs., 89.00 to 90.75; 850 to 900 lbs., 83.25 to 86.50.
