Bushner announces resignation of Colorado Corn CEO

Colorado

Trent Bushner, Chairman of the Board of the Colorado Corn, announced the resignation of John Cevette, Chief Executive Officer of Colorado Corn and its subsidiaries, FarmCast, FarmProfit and FarmInsure effective early summer.

Cevette, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2000, is leaving his position for health reasons.

Bushner said, "John has been a dynamic leader who has guided this organization with a vision and energy rarely seen in the business world."

"When the board hired John we knew that Parkinson's would eventually take him from us, and we're just grateful that we had him for as long we did," said Bushner. Cevette was named as CEO in 2002.

A search for his replacement will begin shortly said Bushner.
