Wheatheart conference to be heldTexas The Texas Cooperative Extension in Ochiltree, Hansford, Hutchinson, Lipscomb and Hemphill counties are sponsoring the 8th annual Wheatheart Wheat and Stocker Cattle Conference on Aug. 10. The conference w ill be held at the Ochiltree County Expo Center in Perryton. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and programs begin at 9 a.m. All area Wheat and stocker cattle producers are invited to hear Extension and industry specialists cover a wide range of topics related to Wheat and stocker cattle production and marketing. Plus, 3 CEUs w ill be provided for all attending with a pesticide applicator license. Lunch will be provided and, several door prizes will be given away including a BBQ smoker and grill.
