St. Joseph feeder pig auction newsThe St. Joseph, Mo., feeder pig auction, reported estimated receipts of 216 head July 25, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo. Compared to last week, feeder pigs sold $2 to $7 lower on few comparable weights with even lower undertones noted on incomparable weights. Continuing seasonal heat and fully stocked farms led to light demand on a light test. Prices paid per head on actual weights. U.S. 1 to 2: 2 packages 35 lbs., 13.00 to 15.00; 46 to 47 lbs., 30.00; package 59 lbs., 40.00; package 66 lbs., 40.00; package 84 lbs., 45.00; package 90 lbs., 50.00.
