Sioux Falls feeder pig sales reportThe Sioux Falls feeder pig auction, Sioux Falls, S.D., reported receipts of 1,399 head July 25, compared to 1,046 head two weeks ago and 932 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared with two weeks ago, feeder pigs sold steady to $5 higher with quality improved over previous sale and several larger consignments throughout the auction. All sales based on actual weight and by the head. U.S. 1 to 2: 49 lbs., 37.00 to 38.00 (37.45); 50 to 54 lbs., 39.50 to 45.00 (42.25); 55 to 58 lbs., 39.00 to 41.50 (40.06); 61 to 63 lbs., 41.00 to 45.00 (42.47); 91 head, 67 lbs., 42.00.
