Tractor safety training in Scott CityKansas A tractor safety training course will be held March 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Scott Community High School Vocational Agriculture Building in Scott City. It's the law for tractor drivers that are 14 or 15 years old or older to complete a tractor safety training course. Individuals planning on doing farmwork for someone other than a parent or legal guardian, must take a tractor safety course according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Requirements for this course include: --14 or 15 years old (or 13, turning 14 this summer); --Social Security Number; --$10 registration fee; --Bring a sack lunch; --Pre-registration required.
