St. Joseph feeder pig sales newsThe St. Joseph, Mo., feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., Jan. 24, reported estimated receipts of 200 head, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo. Compared to last week, feeder pigs sold firm to $10 higher. The improved local slaughter hog market has brought a turnaround in feeder pig demand. Weather conditions continue extremely mild for January. Prices paid per head on actual weights. U.S. 1 to 2: Package 56 lbs., 56.00; 110 head, 58 lbs., 66.25 reputation; package 95 lbs., 69.50.
