South Central direct sheepThe South Central Direct Sheep Auction, San Angelo, Texas, Jan. 20, reported receipts of 500 slaughter goats, according to the USDA Market News Service, San Angelo, Texas. Compared to last week, trade at a near standstill on feeder lambs. Slaughter and replacement ewes were not tested. Slaughter goats were steady. Demand very limited and supplies are limited. Slaughter meat goats: Kids, 500 head, Selection 1 to 2, 50 to 60 lbs., 110.00. Date:1/26/06
