Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 3,000 head, as of 3 p.m., Jan 26, according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers weighing 300 to 600 pounds were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers weighing 600 to 950 pounds were $1 to $2 lower on early sales. Feeder heifers weighing 600 to 950 pounds were steady to $2 lower.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 122.50 to 123.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 117.75 to 120.10; 700 to 750 lbs., 113.00 to 115.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 110.00 to 113.00 to 800 to 850 lbs., 108.50 to 110.25; 850 to 900 lbs., 106.00 to 108.85; 900 to 950 lbs., 103.00 to 106.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 111.00 to 114.10; 650 to 700 lbs., 108.75 to 112.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 103.75 to 107.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 101.75 to 105.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 101.25 to 104.50; 850 to 900 lbs., 98.75 to 101.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 100.85 to 102.00.
