Watertown livestock salesThe South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., Dec. 20, reported receipts of 1,200 head, compared to 1,600 head last week and 1,300 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder heifers remained steady. Feeder steers over 650 pounds were steady, while feeder steers at 650 pounds were $2 to $3 lower. Light weight feeder steers, 550 pounds and under were $3 to $5 lower. The offering included 85% feeder steers, !5% feeder heifers with 75% over 600 pounds.
