Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

Pratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kan., Aug. 24, reported estimated receipts of 2,000 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers 300 to 700 pounds not established as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers 700 to 950 pounds were $1 to $3 higher. Feeder heifers 700 to 900 pounds were $1 to $2 higher on a light supply.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 8 head, 636 lbs., 125.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 120.50 to 121.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 118.00 to 120.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 115.10 to 118.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 115.75 to 119.25; 900 to 950 lbs., 109.85 to 113.75; 6 head, 962 lbs., 102.50.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 32 head, 637 lbs., 114.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 108.75 to 112.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 115.50 to 116.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 108.00 to 111.25; 800 to 850 lbs., 106.75 to 108.75; 11 head, 854 lbs., 105.50; 4 head, 988 lbs., 101.00.
