The Colorado Auction Feeder Cattle Summary, Greeley, Colo., reported receipts of 2,520 head April 14, compared to 5,825 head last week and 4,475 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colo.

Compared to last week, feeder steers weighing under 700 pounds were mostly $1 to $2 lower, weights over 700 pounds sold mostly steady. Feeder heifers under 600 pounds sold mostly $2 lower, weights over 600 pounds were steady to $1 lower. Demand was moderate to good for light seasonal supplies. The total supply was made up of about 45% feeder steers, balance feeder heifers, with about 61% of total feeder supply weighed over 600 pounds.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 360 to 390 lbs., 143.00 to 153.00; 450 to 490 lbs., 135.00 to 141.00; 500 to 530 lbs., 125.00 to 139.00; 580 to 590 lbs., 119.00 to 123.00; 600 to 640 lbs., 116.00 to 124.00, calves 114.00 to 115.00; 650 to 690 lbs., 107.00 to 110.00; 750 to 790 lbs., 95.00 to 99.00, calves 102.00; 830 lbs., 93.00; 850 to 890 lbs., 85.50 to 90.00; 910 to 920 lbs., 85.25 to 87.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 360 to 390 lbs., 123.00 to 144.00; 470 to 490 lbs., 126.00 to 132.00; 510 to 540 lbs., 114.00 to 127.00; 560 to 590 lbs., 113.00 to 115.00; 610 to 620 lbs., 108.00 to 113.00; 700 to 720 lbs., 100.00 to 103.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 400 to 440 lbs., 120.00 to 130.00; 450 to 480 lbs., 118.00 to 122.00; 510 to 530 lbs., 115.00 to 118.50; 550 to 590 lbs., 108.00 to 113.00; 600 to 630 lbs., 97.50 to 100.25, calves 101.00 to 102.00; 660 to 690 lbs., 93.00 to 96.00; 720 lbs., 93.00; 750 lb 90.00; 800 to 830 lbs., 82.50 to 88.50. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 370 to 380 lbs., 118.00 to 124.00; 460 to 490 lbs., 108.00 to 117.00; 510 to 540 lbs., 109.00 to 111.50; 550 to 590 lbs., 104.00 to 109.00; 640 to 640 lbs., 93.00 to 95.00; 740 lb 85.00; 750 to 770 lbs., 83.00 to 84.00.
