Compared to last week, there was a limited test on feeder steers and heifers. Thre were hardly enough for an accurate market trend comparison, few feeder steers were steady to $2 higher, and few feeder heifers were $4 to $5 higher. Slaughter cows were generally steady, few Breaking type cows, $1 to $2 higher, slaughter bulls were $2 to $3 lower.

Slaughter bulls: Yield Grade 1 and 2, 1500 to 2100 lbs., 62.25 to 67.75; low dressing, 1200 to 2200 lbs., 56.00 to 61.50.

Bred cows: Medium and large frame 1 and 2, young cows, 900 to 1050 lbs., 6 to 8 months bred, 700.00 to 780.00; middle-aged cows, 1100 to 1365 lbs., 4 to 8 months bred, 620.00 to 720.00; aged cows, 875 to 1300 lbs., 4 to 8 months bred, 455.00 to 570.00, per head.
