MU Ag Experiment Station announces 2006 field daysThe latest in crop, livestock, forage, horticultural, wildlife and agroforestry research will be on display at a series of field days conducted at University of Missouri research centers and farms. Marc Linit, interim associate director of the Missouri Agricultural Experiment Station (AES), recently released the 2006 field day schedule. "Our centers and farms are where agricultural and life sciences research ideas are put to the real-world test," Linit said. "Each center takes a place-based approach to answering production questions, accounting for subtle regional differences in soils, climate and topography. The diversity of our landscape is reflected in the diversity of our agricultural systems research."
