Oklahoma 4-H to host golf tournamentOklahoma The Oklahoma 4-H Foundation will host the seventh annual Clover Classic golf tournament Oct. 10, to raise funds to support the Oklahoma 4-H Youth Development program. The golf tournament will begin at 9 a.m. at the Oak Tree Golf Club in Edmond with a shotgun start. The practice range, breakfast refreshments and registration will be available at 8 a.m. Mulligans can be purchased at registration. The round of golf will be followed by an awards presentation, silent auction and lunch provided by the Oklahoma Pork Council at 1 p.m. Many door prizes such as gift certificates, golf merchandise, and green fees from courses throughout the state, will be awarded during the day. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with the tournament's celebrity golfer, Ed Murray from Oklahoma City's Channel News 9. Teams of four or individual players are asked to register by Oct. 1. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a challenging round of golf while supporting a premier youth organization. Oklahoma 4-H engages 142,000 young people through different school enrichment programs, special interest groups, or 4-H clubs and camps.
