The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported 500 head Oct. 25, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.

Compared to last week, feeder pigs sold $6 to $8 lower. There was a good offering on hand with something to please every buyer, but depressed slaughter hog prices have simply lowered the price that buyers are willing to pay. Prices per head on actual weights.
