South Central direct sheep sales report
The South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending Oct. 14, reported 10,000 feeder lambs and 600 slaughter goats, according to the USDA Market News Service, San Angelo, Texas.
Compared with last week, feeder lambs were not tested. Slaughter goats were firm to $3 higher. Trading at a standstill throughout the area. Heavy rains in the area curtailed trade this week.
Feeder lambs: New Mexico, 10,000 head, Medium and large frame 1 and 2, to feedlots under retained ownership.
Slaughter meat goats: Kids, 600 head, Selection 1 and 2, 50 to 65 lbs., 110.00 to 113.00.
