The Sioux Falls feeder pig auction, Sioux Falls, S.D., reported receipts of 400 head, compared to 973 head two weeks ago, and 423 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Compared to two weeks ago, limited test of feeder pigs on a small supply with a higher undertone noted. All sales based on actual weight and by the head.
U.S. 1 to 2: 53 head, 34 lbs., 43.00; 35 to 38 lbs., 46.00 to 47.00 (46.41); 65 head, 47 lbs., 45.00 to 48.00 (46.85); 45 head, 51 lbs., 53.00; 96 head, 66 lbs., 60.00.
