The Presho Livestock Auction, Presho, S.D., Oct. 20, reported receipts of 2,499 head, compared to 3,660 head last week and 3,360 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Compared to last week, a light supply of yearlings were offered with steer and heifer calves selling $2 to $4 higher in active trade. Demand was good with a large attendance. The offering included 67% steers, 33% heifers, with 38% over 600 pounds.
