Compared to last week, feeder steers weighing 300 to 750 pounds were steady to $4 higher in a light supply and 750 to 1000 pounds were steady to $2 higher in a light supply. Feeder heifers weighing 300 to 700 pounds were steady to $1 higher in a light supply and 700 to 1000 pounds were steady in a light supply. Trade was active, demand was good. Slaughter cows were $3 lower. Slaughter bulls were steady. Receipts included 79% 600 pounds and over, 18% 600 pounds and under, 3% cows and bulls. The feeder supply included 61% steers and 39% heifers.
