Record soy futures contracts traded
CHICAGO, Ill. (CBOT)--The Chicago Board of Trade announced March 14 that on March 11, open interest in CBOT Soybean futures rose to a new record, surpassing 300,000 contracts for the first time ever.
In addition, the new all-time high achieved in the contract marked the fourth consecutive open interest record-setting session in one week.
Open interest in soybean futures rose to a new record of 305,505 contracts, eclipsing the previous record of 293,955 contracts set on March 10.
