The Springfield Livestock Marketing Center, Springfield, Mo., reported receipts of 1,915 June 15, compared to 2,800 head last week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Jefferson City, Mo.

Compared to last week, steers weighing 400 to 600 pounds were $2 to $4 lower, and those over 600 pounds were steady to $2 lower. Holsteins under 600 pounds were $3 to $6 higher, over 600 pounds were $1 to $2 lower, and heifers were steady. A light test of steers and heifers under 400 pounds were steady to firm. Demand and supply were moderate. The feeder supply included 38% steers, 12% Holsteins, 41% heifers, 9% bulls, with 37% over 600 pounds.
