The Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported 7,741 head Jan. 21, compared to 5,311 head last week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers were $1 to $3 lower. Feeder heifers under 650 pounds were steady, heavier weights were $1.50 to $3 lower, over 800 pounds were $5 lower. Stocker and steer calves were steady. Heifer calves were steady to $2 higher. Demand was moderate for feeders, good for calves. Fill was average to full. Quality was average to plain, end attractive. The supply was comprised of 67% steers, 31% heifers with 88% over 600 pounds.
