The Sioux Falls feeder pig auction, Sioux Falls, S.D., Jan. 25, reported receipts of 664 head, compared to 893 head last sale and 70 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Compared with two weeks ago feeder pigs sold steady to $5 higher with reputation consignments selling $7 to $9 higher. All sales based on actual weight and by the head.

U.S. 1 to 2: 30 to 32 lbs., 48.00 to 51.00 (49.71); 6 head, 38 lbs., 50.00; 46 to 48 lbs., 50.50 to 52.50 (51.67); 25 head, 52 lbs., 70.00; 25 head, 59 lbs., 71.00; 60 to 61 lbs., 71.00 to 75.50 (74.68); 49 head, 74 lbs., 85.00; 100 head, 79 lbs., 91.00 reputation; 11 head, 82 lbs., 76.00; 70 head, 96 lbs., 76.00.

U.S. 1 to 3: 13 head, 43 lbs., 49.00; 13 head, 55 lbs., 58.00; 24 head, 77 lbs., 67.00; 15 head, 81 lbs., 66.00; 19 head, 90 lbs., 71.00.

U.S. 2 to 3: 9 head, 40 lbs., 44.00.
