Pratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kan., Jan. 27, reported estimated receipts of 4,000 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers 300- to 600-pounds not enough for a market test, feeder steers 600- to 1,000-pounds were $4 to $6 lower on early sales, feeder heifers 600- to 950-pounds were $4 to $7 lower.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 14 head, 634 lbs., 106.75; 650 to 700 lbs., 102.50 to 106.00; 49 head, 701 lbs., 106.00; 11 head, 767 lbs., 101.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 97.00 to 99.60; 8 head, 881 lbs., 94.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 96.85 to 98.35; 19 head, 989 lbs., 95.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 102.75 to 105.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 98.75 to 102.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 97.50 to 100.60; 750 to 800 lbs., 95.50 to 98.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 94.00 to 97.25; 15 head, 892 lbs., 94.25; 900 to 950 lbs., 91.60 to 94.50.
