Watertown livestock sales
The South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipt of 1,950 head Feb. 16, compared to 1,900 head last week and 2,600 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Compared to last week, feeder steers were $1 to $2 lower, while feeder heifers were $1 to $2 higher. Feeder steers made up 64% percent of the run, heifers 36%, with 87% over 600 pounds.
