The Presho Livestock Auction, Presho, S.D., reported receipts of 3,318 head Feb. 10, compared to 1,821 head last week and 2,956 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Compared to two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $2 higher. Potloads more prevalent than two weeks ago. Light supply of feeders weighing 600 pounds and less. The offering included 52% steers, and 48% heifers, with 86% 600 pounds and over.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 486 to 496 lbs., 137.00 to 138.50 (137.74); 502 to 534 lbs., 134.25 to 140.50 (137.73); 551 to 599 lbs., 119.75 to 126.75 (124.39); 600 to 637 lbs., 118.50 to 125.50 (123.31); 652 to 673 lbs., 114.50 to 119.25 (117.39); 702 to 746 lbs., 107.00 to 114.90 (111.36); 754 to 788 lbs., 103.50 to 110.75 (108.06); 800 to 826 lbs., 101.85 to 104.50 (103.27); 40 head, 854 lbs., 102.60; 61 head, 915 lbs., 100.10. Medium and large frame 1 and 2, 33 head, 646 lbs., 116.00; 655 to 695 lbs., 110.25 to 113.25 (111.24).

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 20 head, 458 to 480 lbs., 125.50 to 127.50 (126.88); 505 to 536 lbs., 126.00 to 131.00 (128.53); 566 to 596 lbs., 115.00 to 122.00 (118.07); 600 to 648 lbs., 108.25 to 116.25 (112.10); 659 to 696 lbs., 103.00 to 112.25 (107.06); 708 to 737 lbs., 100.50 to 105.00 (102.76); 44 head, 753 lbs., 99.00; 8 head, 838 lbs., 95.10; 19 head, 979 lbs., 91.75.
