The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., Dec. 20, reported estimated receipts of 400 head, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.

Compared to last week, feeder pigs sold steady to $5 higher. Demand was very good with a large crowd on hand. Prices per head on estimated weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: 55 to 60 lbs., 65.00 to 69.00; package 64 lbs., 68.00.

U.S. 1 to 3: Package 28 lbs., 30.00; 40 to 50 lbs., 40.00 to 40.50; package 55 lbs., 46.00.

U.S. 2 to 3: Package 20 lbs., 20.00.
