North American Limousin Junior Association selects leadersThe North American Limousin Junior Association named its board of directors for 2005-2006 during the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress, July 17 to 23 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Cassie Johnson of Cushing, Iowa, and Emily Davis of Kenton, Tenn., begin their second two-year terms. They are joined by newly appointed board members Mindin Furguson of Wheatland, Calif.; James Bohi of Wellsville, Kan.; and Rachel Wulf of Hancock, Minn. Corrine Harrison of Minier, Ill.; Ryan Johnson of Ashton, Iowa; Megan Rolf of LeRoy, Kan.; Amber Brewe of Marthasville, Mo.; and Philip Shelton of Petersburg, Tenn., begin the second year of their current terms. The board members elected C. Johnson as president, Shelton as vice president, Rolf as secretary, Harrison as treasurer, and Davis as historian. Immediate Past President Megan Perry of Grove, Okla., will serve on the 2005-2006 board as an ex officio member. Retiring board members are Chance Shilling of Edson, Kan., and Shelby Smith of Stephenville, Texas. Limousin is the leader in muscle-growth efficiency and is the ideal complement to British-based cows.
