Discount Fair tickets on sale


The Ozark Empire Fair has announced that special discount fair tickets will go on sale at area Wal-Mart locations, from July 1 through 28.

Fair guests can save $3 by purchasing adult admission tickets for $5 each. Admission tickets for kids, ages 6 to 12 can be purchased for $1, a savings of $1 off the regular admission price. As always, children 5 and under are admitted free! Discount carnival ride tickets are also being sold at Wal-Mart. Special sheets of 18 ride coupons will be sold for $10, a savings of 35 percent off the regular price.

The Fair will once again offer the opportunity to purchase a "SuperPass" for $20. The "SuperPass" is good for admission and unlimited carnival rides, on any one single day of the Fair, from 11 a.m. to closing. These special passes must be purchased in advance at area Wal-Marts, and will not be available for purchase at the gate.

Participating Wal-Marts in Springfield include the North and South Super Centers, West Sunshine Super Center, South Campbell Super Center and East Kearney stores. Admission and carnival tickets will also be available at the following area Wal-Mart stores: Bolivar, Buffalo, Lebanon, Marshfield, Monett, Mountain Grove, Nixa, Ozark and Republic.
