St. Joseph feeder pig auction
The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., April 19, reported receipts of 150 head, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.
Compared to last week, feeder pigs sold $5 to $10 lower. Attendance was light as some farmers are in the fields taking advantage of the weather. Prices per head on actual weights.
U.S. 1 to 2: package 29 lbs., 48.00; 35 to 40 lbs., 51.00 to 57.50; 50 to 60 lbs., 70.00 to 75.00; package 75 lbs., 77.00; package 81 lbs., 82.50.
U.S. 1 to 3: package 34 lbs., 50.00; 50 to 55 lbs., 59.00 to 66.00.
