Presho cattle auction notes
The Presho Livestock Auction, Presho, S.D., reported receipts of 3,200 head Sept. 16, compared to 3,172 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
No trends were applicable because the most recent sale was three weeks ago. Mostly potloads on offer in the yearlings department, one consignment had 850 steers. The offering included 64% yearlings, 71% steers, 29% heifers, with 64% over 600 pounds.
