Nebraska Wheat meeting set for Oct. 1Nebraska The Nebraska Wheat Development, Utilization and Marketing Board has scheduled their next meeting on Friday, Oct. 1, 2004 in Lincoln at Chase Suites, located at 200 So 68th Place. The meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. Agenda items will include reviewing the Biennium budget for FY 2005-2007, reports on program activities in the areas of research and market development, and reports on recent meetings. The public is invited to attend all or any portion of this open meeting. A copy of the agenda is available on the Nebraska Wheat Board website at www.newheat.state.ne.us or by calling the Wheat Board office, 402-471-2358 or 800-651-6736; or e-mail: nwb@what.state.ne.us. The Nebraska Wheat Board administers the one and one quarter cent per bushel excise tax levied on Wheat marketed in Nebraska.
