Morgan Co. offers "Investigate 4-H Night"

Untitled

Colorado

If you want to learn more about the 4-H program in Morgan County, plan to attend "Investigate 4-H Night" on Sept. 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Event Center on the west end of the Morgan County Fairgrounds.

4-H members, 4-H leaders, and extension staff will be on hand to answer questions that you may have about 4-H. You can examine completed projects and records and visit with the youth who made them.

4-H members will have their projects on display and will be available to answer any questions concerning 4-H and their projects. You'll be able to see a dress that a youth has sewn, veterinary science projects, gardening projects and livestock record books. There will be heritage arts projects such as quilting, knitting, crocheting, rug making and more. Youth may "try out" the 4-H shooting sports program by shooting an air rifle under 4-H leader supervision in the Multi-Purpose Building. Other projects on display will include home environment, model rocketry, modelcraft, forestry, plant science, child care, decorate your duds, clothing, cake decorating, leathercraft, photography, crocheting, foods, woodworking, dog, horse, dairy and dairy goat, rabbits, junior leadership, ceramics, global citizenship, shooting sports, electricity, and entomology. Leaders from several clubs will also be there to provide information. Demonstrations will be presented during the evening. There will be drawings for door prizes and refreshments will be served.

Circle September 30 on your calendar now and plan to Investigate 4-H.
