You can become a Youth Ambassador!

Each year Farm Safety 4 Just Kids elects a Youth Ambassador through applications submitted from all over the U.S. and Canada.

The FS4JK Youth Ambassador is chosen on the basis of community involvement, speaking experience, and an interest in farm safety.

This program is a unique opportunity for youth to represent Farm Safety 4 Just Kids and serve as a voice for rural children.

--This is a two year term. The first year you will be recognized as the Farm Safety 4 Just Kids Youth Ambassador. During the second year you will be recognized as the Farm Safety 4 Just Kids Youth Delegate.

--You must be between the ages of 15 and 17 at the time of application.

--The Youth Ambassador/Delegate is required to attend a Youth Ambassador training at the Farm Safety 4 Just Kids Headquarters in Earlham, Iowa.

--The Youth Ambassador/Delegate is required to attend a FS4JK Regional Workshop and National Conference.

--The Farm Safety 4 Just Kids Staff will contact the Youth Ambassador/Delegate with other conferences, speaking opportunities, and other special projects.

To apply for this position, please fill out the Youth Ambassador/Delegate Application with the following attachments:

--An essay of 500 words or less on why you want represent Farm Safety 4 Just Kids.

--A summary describing your presentation/training experiences. Be sure to include information on the audience level (age), audience size, length of presentation, experience with presentation software, and purpose of presentation.

--Two letters of recommendation (coach, teacher, adviser, professor, church leader, 4-H leader, FS4JK Chapter Member, etc.)
