Pratt 3 p.m. cattle salesPratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kan., Oct. 21, reported estimated receipts of 2,000 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, 300- to 600-pound feeder steers and heifers were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers weighing 600 to 900 pounds were steady on early sales, and 300- to 800-pound heifers were not enough for test, although a steady undertone was noted. Those weighing 800 to 850 pounds were $1 higher. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 15 head, 645 lbs., 113.75; 9 head, 662 lbs., 113.50; 16 head, 703 lbs., 113.35; 35 head, 759 lbs., 113.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 111.75 to 113.50; 13 head, 865 lbs., 112.00; 80 head, 903 lbs., 107.50.
