Presho livestock sales report
The Presho Livestock Auction, Presho, S.D., reported receipts of 3,600 head Nov. 18, compared to 3,850 head last week and 3,300 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold $4 to $6 lower. Few potloads on offer. All the calves had their shots. The offering included about 55% steers, 45% heifers, with 50% over 600 pounds.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 460 to 475 lbs., 128.75 to 136.00 (131.55); 507 to 540 lbs., 116.00 to 125.75 (120.41); 558 to 596 lbs., 111.50 to 114.75 (113.45); 600 to 632 lbs., 109.00 to 119.00 (113.72); 651 to 698 lbs., 108.00 to 114.50 (112.06); 701 to 748 lbs., 104.00 to 108.75 (107.24) calves; 17 head, 761 to 762 lbs., 101.00 to 106.00 (103.94) calves. Medium and large frame 1 and 2, 9 head, 441 lbs., 119.00; 13 head, 451 to 454 lbs., 123.25 to 125.50 (124.64); 15 head, 638 lbs., 108.00.
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 407 to 446 lbs., 127.00 to 134.00 (132.34); 469 to 491 lbs., 116.75 to 122.25 (119.72); 504 to 534 lbs., 113.00 to 118.25 (115.61); 560 to 594 lbs., 105.50 to 112.00 (110.41); 602 to 619 lbs., 105.00 to 112.00 (108.96); 18 head, 652 to 653 lbs., 99.75 to 102.00 (100.37); 19 head, 703 lbs., 100.00 calves; 916 to 937 lbs., 93.75 to 99.00 (97.60); 4 head, 981 lbs., 94.25; 18 head, 1008 to 1028 lbs., 87.75 to 89.75 (89.31). Medium and large frame 1 and 2, 10 head, 447 lbs., 120.00; 18 head, 541 lbs., 110.75; 10 head, 690 lbs., 93.75; 14 head, 734 lbs., 94.75; 8 head, 785 lbs., 94.50.
