Winter Wheat clinic in Lamar on March 17Missouri A winter Wheat clinic will begin at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, at the Eric Lawrence farm northwest of Lamar, Mo. There will be 2.5 continuing education units credited at this meeting under the CCA program. The purpose of this half-day, in-field clinic is to train and update growers and agricultural professionals in diagnosing and managing winter Wheat production issues. Topics of the day include: Winter Wheat crop management, winter Wheat IPM principles and disease, insect and weed management. Five state specialists from the University of Missouri will be present to address the topics specific to their area of specialization.
