Wheat board sets March 3 meeting
Nebraska
The Nebraska Wheat Development, Utilization and Marketing Board has scheduled their next meeting on Wednesday, March 3, in Kearney at the Country Inn and Suites, located near I-80 at 105 Talmadge Street. The meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m.
Agenda items will include first review of funding proposals for FY 2004-2005, as well as reports on program activities and recent meetings. The public is invited to attend all or any portion of this open meeting. The Nebraska Wheat Board administers the one and one quarter cent per bushel checkoff levied on Wheat marketed in Nebraska. The Board invests the funds in programs of international and domestic market development and improvement, policy development, research, promotion and education.
