Watertown cattle sale news
South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 2,000 head March 10, compared to 2,100 head last week and 2,650 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Compared to last week, feeder cattle under 600 pounds were a light test and steady. Feeder steers and heifers were $1 to $4 higher. The offering included 57% feeder steers, 43% heifers, with 96% weighing over 600 pounds.
