Uptime kits help keep tractors in peak performance

Untitled

John Deere, Moline, Ill., introduces transmission uptime kits for preventative transmission maintenance.

The new transmission uptime kits are designed to replace various o-rings, seals, bearings, and friction elements as part of an overall preventative maintenance plan. This is an excellent program for advanced hour tractors and a cost-effective way to avoid expensive secondary damage to major transmission components. These kits are especially handy for farmers with an older John Deere tractor used in heavy tillage, or work requiring frequent shifting, or for farmers unfamiliar with the tractor's operational history.

A variety of uptime kits are available for 30, 40, 50, 55, 60, 7000, and 7010 Series Tractors. Visit a John Deere dealer for information specific to you tractor and to identify symptoms pointing to the need for an uptime kit.

Benefits of a John Deere transmission uptime kit include:

--Genuine John Deere parts at a reduced price
--Drive train reconditioning for peak performance
--Higher potential trade-in value or resale value
--Reduced downtime
--Parts and labor warranty (when John Deere dealer installed)
--Reduced risk of catastrophic failures and large repair bills
--The opportunity for inspection of other internal parts for damage
