St. Joseph feeder pigsThe St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 400 head June 22, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo. Compared to last week, feeder pigs sold unevenly steady. Slaughter hog prices were up $5.50 the first two days of this week, now $57.00, and corn prices were .07 lower today but futures coming lower. Prices paid per head on actual weights. U.S. 1 and 2: 36 lbs., 40.00; 48 lbs., 50.00; 51 to 53 lbs., 48.00 to 54.00; 64 to 67 lbs., 54.50 to 55.50; 87 lbs., 62.00. U.S. 1 and 3: 46 lbs., 43.00; 56 lbs., 46.00; 60 lbs., 47.00; 136 lbs., 66.00.
