Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales
Pratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kan., June 24, reported estimated receipts of 1,700 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.
Compared with last week, there were not enough 300- to 600-pound feeder steers and heifers for a market test. Feeder steers weighing 600 to 950 pounds were $1 to $2 higher. Feeder heifers weighing 600 to 900 pounds were $1 to $3 higher in a light supply.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 646 lbs., 112.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 115.25 to 117.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 115.50 to 119.10; 750 to 800 lbs., 115.50 to 118.35; 800 to 850 lbs., 113.85 to 116.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 110.00 to 113.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 109.85 to 110.35.
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 10 head, 634 lbs., 112.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 111.75 to 113.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 109.75 to 112.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 109.85 to 111.75; 12 head, 805 lbs., 109.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 104.00 to 107.00.
