Muskogee County ag field dayset for June 29 Oklahoma Aquaculture, plasticulture and goat production are three of the main topics scheduled for discussion at the Muskogee County Agriculture Field Day scheduled for Tuesday, June 29 at the OSU Research Station in Haskell. Sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry and Langston University, additional presentations will feature risk management specialists and an overview of services available from USDA's Natural Resources and Conservation Service, said Willard Tillman, ODAFF program coordinator. "This field day is open to everyone but we are especially interested in reaching out to smaller producers and minorities who may be unaware of some of the programs available to them," he said. The program will begin with two brief field trips to nearby farming operations, Tillman said. For more information call him at 405-522-5595. Date: 6/24/04
