Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales
Pratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kan., July 22, reported estimated receipts of 3,500 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.
Compared with last week, 300- to 600-pound feeder steers and heifers were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers weighing 600 to 950 pounds were $3 to $5 higher, feeder heifers weighing 600 to 850 pounds were $3 higher.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 126.50 to 130.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 122.50 to 126.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 119.50 to 121.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 112.75 to 115.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 113.85 to 117.25; 850 to 900 lbs., 112.85 to 116.25; 900 to 950 lbs., 106.85 to 110.25.
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 114.00 to 117.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 116.00 to 119.85; 700 to 750 lbs., 114.00 to 117.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 113.00 to 115.60; 800 to 850 lbs., 109.25 to 110.25.
