Watertown livestock sales
The South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 2,650 head Jan. 21, compared to 1,800 head last week and 2,450 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady, while feeder heifers were $2 higher. Offerings over 600 pounds made up 80% of the run. Feeder steers were 62% of the run, and heifers 38%.
